In ancient Greek, bio means life and metron means measure. Basically, biometrics is the science and technology of measuring and analyzing biological data. Biometric Characteristics can be divided into two main categories, physiological and behavioral. Basically, Physiological are related to the shape of the body and behavioral are related to the behavior of a person.
