How does biometric facial recognition work?

It works by taking a pictures of a subject from different angles and generating it into the computer to analyze it's facial structure. As you see from the picture below, it takes a number of points and measurements, such as:

• distances between key characteristics

• angles of key features

• lengths of various portions of the face

Then with these information, the program creates a template that incorporates all the numerical data and will be compared to enormous databases of facial images to identify the subject.

How is this technology being used?

Time attendance system:
